Peter Gray The AU Review So little on offer here that's worth praising. Rated: 1/5 Sep 4, 2019 Full Review Lorry Kikta Film Threat This film is not going into any hall of fame or anything, and it certainly has to grow on you, but Tabernacle 101 is undeniably entertaining in a trash-tv sort of way. Audience Member Great movie. Paranormal with no blood and gore. Low budget to the billionth cube root, @%^3) its unique and original as it plays on light and love, not darkness as most para or ghoul movies do. The characters help people live life & cure ills not cross over from the trapped of this world or stuck on the wrong plain. The movie hits on "Insidious" franchise with it demons on the astral plains but only 2 of them in death of light/heaven and dark (the further of a purgatory hell) These flicks usually are base on the Roman Catholic belief. When Frank meets death the demons are waiting as they know they have a free ride to our plain of existence: a free ride on the Frank Minetti soul. Tabernacle they travel the 9 levels of the astral (also 9 levels of angels based on three units of three : trinity) to heaven and meet angels (what class of 9 levels of angels 👼 are not sure but I think their level 1 seraphim: pure love ❤️ and sing the glory of God & Heaven) and "Flat-liners" with death. Is Merideth a nephilum (mother human father an angel 😇: read your bible they're in there.) . Is one thing above those pics is this one is sunlight ☀️, loving, and faith as we are to JESUS 💡 light/ ❤️ love will destroy evil. those other movies are dark and fight on a unholy plain of existence. Demons in the movies 🎥: Belial (the purest form of evil out of any fallen angel) Lucifer (king of the underworld and darkness thrown out of heaven and cast to hell) Belzabub (evil on an earthly level) Valak (the deceiver) and all those fallen and cast out by arch angel warrior of heaven Michael whom fought for God. Tabernacle they're dark and the low budget inverted cross & a ghoulish face of Satan but light 💡 and love ❤️ kill them as Jesus preached. The low budget aspect of the movie reminds me of early MTV: old videos were so low budget but very creative!! They just can not compare now to those early $10,000 productions it take $15,000,000 to equal a $8,000 1982 Bowie vid. Put the closed captioning on as accents can make you misinterpret. Only other time I hear Aussie English are in a few movies or watching Essendon Bombers in Aussie Rules Football & again I have the cc on. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 01/27/23 Full Review Audience Member Self-promoted, self-upvoted, D-grade trash movie-making. Probably somebody's failed attempt at a film-school project, from a Community College. Save yourself some time - don't even finish reading my review... Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/12/23 Full Review kyle s Tabernacle 101 is an epic film. The viewer is taken on an incredible journey, and is forced to consider their own thoughts on life after death. The directing and cinematography really stood out to me, really well done. The lighting and special effects were good. The acting was solid. The soundtrack was exceptional as well. It is a very thought provoking film! Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member I realy enjoyed this indie supernatural thriller. Really got me in the mood for Halloween. Well acted. Great storyline. Visually great and built the tension impeccably. Highly recommend! Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/25/23 Full Review Audience Member An interesting indie thriller that is a definite fun watch if you're getting excited about the Halloween season. If you're a fan of flatliners then you'll probably enjoy this one. There's some cool visual FX that you don't usually see in independent cinema. Check it out. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/08/23 Full Review Audience Member "Tabernacle" terrifically merges only the best time-tested elements from the horror, science fiction, and supernatural thriller genres to deliver on the promise of a great concept. Somehow marrying "Flatliners" with "From Dusk Till Dawn" while throwing in a sharp dash of "Hellraiser," this film is a stony, otherworldly buffet of the good stuff. Frank Bennetti (David Hov) is a loudly bellyaching atheist and vlogger. Ironically -- and just like the worst of any denominational religious zealots -- he's so preachy and certain of his beliefs that he's dedicated his life to jamming them down the throats of those who think differently. His online videos attempt to debunk religious claims, which he takes to a whole new next level as fellow non-believer and medical scientist girlfriend Sarah (Elly Hiraani Clapin) puts him way, way under -- all while his trusty camera vlogs away. This film's shrewd and highly effective incorporation of horror, sci-fi, and supernatural elements is bound to draw in the rabid fans of three distinct fanbases, and possibly en masse. Let's hope so, because that just might give "Tabernacle 101" the chance it needs to push past those core fringes and into the less genre-focused mainstream. This is a visually engaging, well-acted, and ultimately engrossing hybrid of a film. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/18/23 Full Review Read all reviews
