Ryan Cracknell Movie Views It's by no means some sort of quote-whoringly "fantastic stuff," "the best baseball movie since Ken Burns took 18 hours of my life" or even "a home run." Sometimes a solid single is all that it takes. Aug 24, 2010 Full Review Chuck O'Leary FulvueDrive-in.com A predictable baseball drama with a completely implausible ending. Sort of like Michael Ritchie's The Scout (1994) without the comedy. Rated: 4/10 Feb 24, 2007 Full Review Wesley Lovell Apollo Guide Plays like a bad teleplay that hopes its audience will forget they've seen this same film countless times in different incarnations. Steve D It has been done to death and done better. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/23/23 Full Review Audience Member (**): The first half of this movie is engaging, but it lost me when they introduced the cliched villain owner into the mix. The film then became predictable and boring. Fair at best. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/18/23 Full Review Audience Member This is bad. But it is about baseball which is good. But they did a terrible job. Totally unrealistic. The guy playing the teen is like 40 years old. Stupid. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/15/23 Full Review Audience Member Gets the country baseball feel right, but falls apart when it comes to the big show. It does look good, but it also feels low budget. Baseball fans will be the only ones that will find this worth watching. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/27/23 Full Review Audience Member Klasik konusu ile basit bir beyzbol filmi. Gene de hos bir film , kisa suresi ile sikmayan izlenebilecek bir yapim. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/14/23 Full Review Audience Member I haven't seen this in forever Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/24/23 Full Review Read all reviews
