T.H. Evans Baillie Guardian We are left with, in effect, a series of well-acted playlets in which we make, and lose all too rapidly, the acquaintance of the coat's wearers. Marshall H An amazing and unique film. Rita Hayworth at her absoulutely most beautiful. Henry Fonda and Ginger Rogers wonderfully funny. Laughton and Robinson truly moving (that's acting!). W.C. Fields hilarious, and Paul Robeson magnificent. I loved every second of it! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/23/25 Full Review RICHARD S What a cast! Uneven episodes, but all of them worth watching. Hayworth, so lovely to look at, but still learning how to act. Fonda and Rogers are brilliant teaming. Roginson's piece is excellent - great acting chops! The darkee episode was very awkward. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 12/24/24 Full Review Steve D A lot of talent to produce not a lot. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 05/27/23 Full Review Audience Member Cute little movie with lots of big names (for the time). Reminds me of the Gary Marshall holiday movies where all the characters are connected in some way. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/16/23 Full Review Audience Member Ehh, it's okay, liked Rita's character at the beginning Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/28/23 Full Review Audience Member Fantastic heartwarming movie Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/26/23 Full Review Read all reviews
