[The Tall Men] is not as good as it should be, but will do till a better Western comes along. The male stars are all at home in oats opera. Go to Full Review

The Tall Men is a great big Cinemascopic Western, excellent in its way and helped by Clark Gable and Robert Ryan. Go to Full Review

It captures colorful panoramas in CinemaScope, but somehow its western lacks epicity and traverses fairly regular terrain. [Full review in Spanish] Go to Full Review

A long, loud and very corny big-budget western in which Clark Gable and Jane Russell growl love at each other... Go to Full Review

Interesting Western with beautiful landscapes, a Native American hero, and Mexican-Americans as the good guys. Go to Full Review

Angelo C Aug 1 I love Clark Gable and Robin Ryan in this classic western. I love to respect he gets from the Mexican people and how brave he was. He was a man’s man brave but at the same time fair cared about people I would die for him anytime. That’s what his man said about him that says a lot, but what type of man was portrayed here.love this movie. See more Steve D 07/01/2023 Entertaining because of Gable. See more 07/04/2019 Cattle drive up to Montana with Clark Gable at his most rugged, kid brother Cameron Mitchell who cant stay out of trouble, Robert Ryan as the money man all three of whom are in the grey area of honest/outlaw with a really good Jane Russell who is rough, tough, and hot. A few twists and turns but it's the cast that pulls this out of the ordinary. Gable in this movie is what so many actors try for and fail, believably tough. If you like this type of of movie, you will like this. See more @Ebrown 02/02/2019 Like an epic companion to John Ford's The Searchers, but with action, and great visuals. It has a great story line, a lot of intense action, beautiful scenery and some very wild dangerous scenes. One of my all time favorites, if you like westerns and have not seen this one, please check it out. See more Read all reviews
