Namrata Joshi The Hindu There is definitely a good thought that Imtiaz Ali invests in Tamasha and some moments do come alive and reach out strongly. Apr 5, 2018 Full Review Lisa Tsering Hollywood Reporter Kapoor is beautifully cast, his trademark mix of assertive theatricality and subtle emotion well suited to the role of a man who seemingly has it all under control, until he doesn't. Apr 5, 2018 Full Review Anil Sinanan Time Out This is a welcome study of Indian relationships, couples now feel free to explore love and life free from the shackles of a still largely patriarchal society. Cheers! Rated: 3/5 Oct 21, 2017 Full Review Shikhar Verma High on Films Tamasha is a celebration. Even in its somber & tortured tone, Imtiaz Ali manages to respect his own craft abiding by a story that might just be every man's struggle. Rated: 4/5 Sep 26, 2019 Full Review Anna M.M. Vetticad Firstpost Tamasha harks back to the raw talent that was evident in Imtiaz's early films, the lovely Socha Na Tha and Jab We Met in particular. Vedaant Parvatam V I think its a superb movie about finding yourself. I loved the cinematography especially the corsica part the acting was lovely the writing however was average and the only part i kind of disliked. But overall the direction was superb and this movie has great rewatch value. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/21/24 Full Review Rajiv P This is an excellent and unique movie because the story is unusual but very much practical. Many people can relate to Ranbir's character. It doesn't reflect box office but that's what it is as entertainment which people want is not there. But it's an important film. Thanks to director Imtiaz Ali. Ranbir is on the top notch and cinematography is good, music is very good thanks to genius Rahman. Overall a good watch for me.
