I watched this movie because it is coming up to Christmas but it was the furthest thing imaginable from a Christmas movie. At the start of the movie I didn't like any of the characters and was somewhat intrigued as to how they would develop but by the end, I liked all of them even less. The plot is also extremely forgettable.

The title is probably a reference to the hues of the sunset at Los Angeles where two transgender sex workers cruise the mean streets leading us deep into the underbelly of City of Angels' shadowy prostitution in Sean Baker's frenziedly diverting street life drama shot entirely on iPhone 5S.
