Saw an early screening of Tarot and I was incredibly impressed with how good it was. A masterclass in horror movie filmmaking. I was on the edge of my seat almost the entire time and was enjoying every second of it.

My run of seeing good horror releases has ended by watching "Tarot" a by the numbers horror movie that's made for the pop music loving younger audience. It makes no attempt to build suspense as it's too busy repeating the same trick & relies on effortless jump scares. It's hard to know if the cast, lead by Mini Me Emma Stone, is good as they're held back by pointless scenes, backstories & dragged out exposition that often looked like used stock footage. The only imagination that went into it is the design of the monsters which the movie did it's best not to show.
