Audience Member TARZAN THE MAGNIFICENT builds on the success of GREATEST ADVENTURE with a solid character driven plot and some of the best acting since the Weismuller Era. John Carradine may get more press as the patriarchal heavy, but Lionel Jeffries' cowardly Brit deserved a Supporting Actor Oscar nod, and his doomed wife Betta St John was equally stunning, The Scott Era closes on a high note, and MAGNIFICENT stands as a worthy successor to the Weismuller Classics. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/05/23 Full Review Audience Member The last of the Gordon Scott films. I think probably the best actors in this role.
