Zinjx W World War II is on: Jane is away from the jungle and she writes Tarzan to ship her some "jungle medicine" to cure allied soldiers whom have contracted a devastating fever in Burma Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/05/24 Full Review Audience Member Tarzan and Boy meet a magician entertaining troops in North Africa, Nancy Kelly, on her way to warn a sheik about evil Nazi plans to steal horses. Tarzan and Boy are wrongfully put in jail for stealing the horses, but break out to stop the evil Nazi plan. It's the usual Tarzan nonsense you'd expect, but it's all quite enjoyable, which includes giant lizards, killer spiders, and a man-eating plant. Top that all off with Hollywood WWII propaganda and this is something of a bizarre must-see film for it's era. Otto Kruger also appears in the film (as a Nazi, of course). Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Aside from the exaggerated storyline, there's some strange animals and fauna in this one that don't exist in the modern world! Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/06/23 Full Review Audience Member It's a steady, charming, old-fashion fun Tarzan movie. The plot isn't the best, the characters are a bit chalky, and the animal-companions do get a little annoying. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/02/23 Full Review Audience Member Tarzan fights everyone in this movie, Arabs, Nazi's and even giant spiders. He must cross the desert to obtain a secret medicine. And Jane is away and Tarzan is running around with another girl in this movie, As far as Tarzan movies go its near the top, though the giant spider was a little cheap in appearance. 4 stars 3-28-12 Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/23/23 Full Review Audience Member Mildly entertaining Tarzan flick. It is kind of neat to see Tarzan in a desert location. Cheetah the Chimpanzee is funny as usual. The story wasn't that absorbing.
