Zinjx W Movie about gold prospectors who threaten Tarzan and his family, solid Movie. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/29/24 Full Review kevin w If one had never seen one of the other adventures of the King of the Jungle, one might think, "hmm, not bad." But if you had, as I have, you would spend the time noting how this is like leftovers from other Tarzan films scrapped together and "they won't know the difference anyway." The weakest of the lot if you ask me. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member Silly, but enjoyable Tarzan outing involves the well cast Tom Conway as a great white hunter tricking Tarzan, Jane, and Boy (Johnny Weissmuller, Maureen O'Sullivan, and Johnny Sheffield) into helping him find some hidden gold. The group, as usual, runs afoul angry natives, and Tarzan has to rescue all of the white people from the racist native stereotypes. Racist stereotypes of native people never come off well to modern eyes, but besides that ugliness, this remains an entertaining Tarzan adventure, particularly when you have George Sander's real-life sound-alike brother as one of the villains. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/31/23 Full Review Audience Member better then the last movie. a good Tarzan film. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/01/23 Full Review Audience Member The point when the original concept becomes formula. Enjoyable, but predictable.
