Namrata Joshi The Hindu The parallel investigations around which the film's narrative is built, the move back and forth in time confuses rather than add to the viewers' involvement. Jul 18, 2018 Full Review Owen Gleiberman Variety A well-acted Bollywood kidnapping thriller offers an intriguing Indian spin on American crime-movie conventions. Apr 5, 2018 Full Review Mike McCahill Guardian The first half proceeds at such a crawl, even the songs sound like somebody's last gasp. Yet Dasgupta's playing a reasonably intricate long game. Rated: 3/5 Jun 9, 2016 Full Review Anna M.M. Vetticad Firstpost An atmospheric Kolkata, a non-stereotypical portrayal of the city and its people, a stirring and suspenseful tale, supporting performances by Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Ghosh's favourite heroine Vidya Balan completed the compelling mix. May 8, 2019 Full Review Rahul Desai CatchNews It holds your gaze, and sucks you into the chase, only to shy away and go home with bat and ball once you get too close. At best, the film is an honest attempt at being dishonest... Rated: 2.5/5 Feb 6, 2019 Full Review Meena Iyer The Times of India The film's ability to maintain the suspense right till the end makes it a must-watch for those who like whodunnits. Sarthak B there are two pieces of Bollywood Cinema that utilize the Kuleshov Effect of film-making in the best way possible. one is A Gentleman (2017) which takes the comedic approach and the other one is this film, which takes a much more serious and darker approach which straight up sent chills down my spine. watch this film for the performances (literally everyone in the movie is on their A-Game, especially Amitabh), the story, the music (each and every song has been placed perfectly and the background score providing the much needed depth to a scene), the cinematography and the emotional punch it packs at the end. please watch this guys, this is Indian Cinema at it's best. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 11/01/22 Full Review Audience Member La trama es lenta y compleja; sin embargo, es entretenida y logra captar la atención del espectador. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/16/23 Full Review Audience Member Amazing performance as always by Amitabh Bachchan. The direction and cinematography have been well used to create an artistic presentation of the story. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/17/23 Full Review yash b "Te3n" is a very good mystery thriller that kept me guessing. The movie is a remake of a well-received Korean film that I have not seen. I enjoyed the strong performances in the movie and the story as well. I was not able to predict the direction the film took in its final act, and I really liked that about it. It is unexpected and an entertaining movie that engrosses you with its story. It takes a little while to get going, but once it does, it never lets up until the credits roll. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Really well-made suspense thriller, the story revolves around a grandfather (Amitabh Bachchan) trying to find the kidnapper of his granddaughter even though it's been 8 years. He tries to sort the help of retired police officer (Nawazuddin Siddiqui) & active ones (Vidya Balan). Adding to the thrill is a new kidnapping having similar circumstances, the suspense and intrigue make it's an intense watch. I did figure out who the kidnapper was midway through the movie, so there is still scope for improvement. Still they had other surprises in store for me with an interesting ending. This is great direction supported by superb casting. All the actors were superb in their performances. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/13/23 Full Review Read all reviews
