Abby R This… is a frustrating movie. It had 60% of the trappings of a pretty decent movie. The irony that this movie is barely an hour long and what’s missing is about 30 minutes of story. And a script doctor. And someone who understands basic sound and video editing. (I’m sure there was a French art film element being attempted here, but it came off more like The Room.) The actors do the absolute best with what they’ve got… which isn’t much. The dialogue is painful at times and very disjointed. But here’s the thing: I can see the good story just begging to come out. One with dynamic character arcs, where the hamlet element feels like a seamless undertone and not an off tune bugle, where the twist towards the end adds to the experience and doesn’t add to the frustration. Time to grieve the ghost of what this movie could’ve been (and pretend this one was just a hallucination.) Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 06/09/25 Full Review Read all reviews
