Thanks to a highly-skilled group of comedic actors with years of experience --- largely honed on television --- and the absurdist humor of writer/director Jason Strouse, "Teacher of the Year" is a film I can heartily recommend.

Don't watch this because it has Michael Keegan and it's billed as a comedy. Watch this because you're a teacher or have a close relationship with a teacher and am seeking insight on what it's like to be a teacher. If you watch with the right mindset, you'll thoroughly appreciate what Jason Strouse has done on an indie budget where he himself is a high school teacher for his full-time job.

We were searching around Amazon Prime for something funny and came across this little gem. So glad we did! Keegan-Michael Key isn't in it as much as the picture would have you believe, but he's so funny! So many great comedic performances.

The is the worst comedy about teaching ever. Key and Peele should be ashamed.

Totally underrated (the 100% critic doesn't really count). It's far from perfect, but it's a really funny Office-style comedy taking place in a school. I really liked it. Key isn't in it much, but his character is mostly hateable so it's not a bad thing. It's really funny. You won't regret watching it (if you have good taste).

Reminds me of Best In Show - funny, quick and goes full circle with the development of the different characters. If you lack a sense of humor, you may find it here or you just don't have one.
