Audience Member True exploitation right down its title Teenage Hitch-hikers isn't too bad for the most part but misses that mark on many aspects to be anything special. Most of all w/ all it's nudity & sex it does have a erotic or sexy tone but only makes you want to take a shower afterwards. Not because its overtly sleazy but it leaves you w/ that dirty grime of the road. Mostly just a little time passer that I found more of interest to see what Sandra Cassel was up to after Last House on the Left. It left me w/ a different perception of her because in Last House you felt like she was exploited but here you just feel like she exploits herself. She does have charm though that actually makes me want to look further into her catalog Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/27/23 Full Review Audience Member Incredibly lame, on every level. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/20/23 Full Review Audience Member This is one bizarre grindhouse sexploitation picture that was bound to languish in obscurity forever until it was given a brief revival as part of one of the Quentin Tarantino Film Festivals a few years ago; the word "dated" doesn't even begin to describe this seventies oddity, but even though it's pretty inept in almost every aspect, it's not without its goofy charm. If nothing else, it's the rare chance to see Sandra Cassel, the lead girl from Wes Craven's "Last House on the Left", in another role; after hearing all the stories about how terrified she was to shoot the rape scenes in that film, it's quite surreal to see her here in scenes involving a rapist which are treated like a screwball comedy! There's not much plot to speak of here, but just a series of random events that include a brief early appearance as a hippie chick by Margaret Whitton of "Major League" fame, a musical scene involving a godawful hippie band, a couple of silent movie parodies (?!), and a climactic hippie orgy that drags on for about ten minutes! As weird as this whole film is, at the very least, it's never boring! Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Audience Member Hilarous. Best rape seen ever. Loved the cop. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/19/23 Full Review Audience Member Who knew that rape could be successfully executed as a comedic device? Wonderfully cartoony sexploitation proves anything can be funny with the right amount of character acting and utter detachment from reality! Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/17/23 Full Review Audience Member A true sex comedy in that it takes nothing seriously, not even the gratuitous t-and-a shots and the climactic orgy scene. But most of all because I never thought I'd laugh so hard during a rape scene. Seriously. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/15/23 Full Review Read all reviews
