Audience Member Yûko Takeuchi is great in dual roles, one looking back, the other looking forward. She continues to impress. The film is gorgeous to look at, has some nice moments, but is overall pretty pablum. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/10/23 Full Review Audience Member According to Heaven's Bookstore, heaven is a nice place where people go to when they die to live out what's left of their allotted 100 years on earth (and yes it does explain, for the more logically minded, about people who live to 102). Heaven is also a place you might get invited for a short visit to resolve some personal conflict, or resolve somebody elses personal conflict. Its all very lovely and sweet and sentimental , but if you wait there's some very nice fireworks at the end. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/22/23 Full Review Audience Member A traditional jap movie w/ pretty shot, romantic elements (fireworks+piano), plus 2 love stories (in heaven & on earth)..and personally i like Yoko Takeuchi (she handles double roles here). "Heaven" always give us lots of imagination and this film tells us the max.life-span for human is 100 years. If you die at 70, will you spend the rest of 30 yrs in Heaven..and basically heaven is not much different from earth..ppl around, bookstores, vehicles.cafe..restaurant..the main difference is ..ppl can love but can't reproduce next generation. But.. there are so many characters in the film un-developed and emotion unattached. hence, i rank it 3/5=) Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/21/23 Full Review Audience Member Amazing storyline. Makes you realise how bad it is to loose someone you're close to....also how crap i am at playing the piano haha Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/06/23 Full Review Audience Member quite new...weird ideas, getting through different generations, touching! Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/18/23 Full Review Audience Member Creative story but touching. Great scenery and fantastic music. Can feel the passion of the crew in making the movie.
