Audience Member Emotional, intense and an average watch. Rated 3/5 Stars •  Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/05/23 Full Review yash b "Tere Naam" does admittedly have some moments that feel a bit problematic for today's standards, but it does also have a genuine heart. I think this movie is one of the few times it felt like Salman Khan was actually trying when it comes to acting and it is a good example to make a case of why he should still be working. The movie's story has many over-the-top moments that can take me out of it and then it just becomes relentlessly sad in the second half. I still think the story is engaging enough and it definitely utilized an older style of Bollywood movies more commonly found in movies from the 90s than the early 2000s. Overall, it is a messy movie in terms of its storytelling, but it does have some memorable and enjoyable moments that make it worth checking out, particularly if you want to see Salman Khan actually giving a solid performance.
