dave j Monday, July 15, 2013 (1968) Hell In Normandy /Testa di sbarco per otto implacabili DUBBED SPAGHETTI WAR Another fictional war movie centering on two guys as well as Guy Madison as Captain Jack Murphy posing as high ranking Nazis to sabotage plans of destroying a dangerous device made by the Nazis to execute and kill American paratroopers. What are the odds, Nazis using German sniffing dogs to find dead Nazis corpses buried in six inches of dirt while browsing on a sand drivel road. Anyways, European production with an Italian cast acting as Americans and Germans. and particualry the end, the action is hard to make out since lot of the shooting was done in the dark which if the screning was shown on widescreen might be able to make out what was happening so as a result you might end up ignoring some of the action altogether. Lousy dubbing, lousy acting mediocre action sequences gives this a not so great experience. 1 out of 4 stars Rated 1.5/5 Stars •  Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member This is a Italian Made US WWII War Movie, time frame is just days before the D-Day invasion, a special forces group work there way into a German bunker which has a flame thrower that will affect the outcome of the invasion, there mission to remove the flame thrower. Peter Lee Lawrence plays Lt. Strobel who is the leader of the group, (Lawrence career ended 6 years later when he committed suicide). Its a 90 Minute film, plays hard to hold one's interest. My copy was very washed out, the colors were faded, and the film had many cuts. This came in the Mill Creek Combat Classics 50 Pack, and its the only way I would buy this film is in a multi pack the more the better. 2 1/2 stars only on this one sorry.
