Chris Knight Original Cin A heartfelt drama about longing and regret - and a raised “médius” (middle finger) by Denys Arcand to this century’s increasingly stringent, strident notions of political correctness. Rated: A Nov 10, 2023 Full Review Andrew Parker The Gate It’s like having a two hour debate with someone well spoken and intelligent who sometimes runs into a wall, shrugs, and says, “well, that’s just your opinion.” It’s an ornery, dyspeptic work that also wants to play nice, and that never works. Tim A I thought it was a great film. Just the right balance of satire, dark humour and feelgood. Many aspects focus on Quebec idiosyncrasies that might not be as relevant to those not aware of the province of Quebec's culture, geography or history. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/19/24 Full Review Francois B Bon film de Arcand. Ne vous fiez pas aux critiques! Rated 4 out of 5 stars 10/18/23 Full Review Nathalie C Another great Arcand film. Quebec culture expressed with the wink and culture for which he is famous. Bravo, this is indeed a testament film. Thank you Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/18/23 Full Review Ana A Denys Arcand does it again with this gentle but moving story which develops into a wi fearful commentary on cancel culture and the foibles of mankind . All with humour and poignancy. Thumbs up! Rated 4 out of 5 stars 10/07/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
