Audience Member The Second Installment In The TV Movie Series The Young Adventures Of Young Indiana Jones Sees Ten Year Old Indy On Safari In British East Africa, Then Move Swiftly On In Paris, France. First Africa 1910, A Young Indy Helps US President Theodore Roosevelt Locate The Whereabouts Of The Rarely Seen Fringed-Eared Oryx With The Help Of A Local Boy Named Meto, Then The Jones' Family & His Tutor Travel To Paris For Lessons On The History Of Art. Here He Meets Famous Artist Pablo Picasso & Gets Caught Up In The Rivalry Between Picaso & Old School Painter Edgar Degas. Another Enjoyable Indiana Jones Adventure Perfect For Passing A Short Time You Need To Fill Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Audience Member young indy hanging with teddy roosevelt and partying with hookers in paris Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/13/23 Full Review Audience Member Very enjoyable adventures of a younger, crazier Indy. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 01/13/23 Full Review Audience Member These two stories both have conclusions, so I wasn't left with the same confusion as with "My First Adventure". In the first story, Indy and his parents are in Africa, where he meets Teddy Roosevelt. He also befriends a young African boy. I really gained a sense of his intelligence here, as he successfully learned to communicate with this boy and his village members as he sought to find the missing oryx (antelopes). The second story wasn't as interesting to me, because I don't find art (specifically painting) as intriguing as some. Here his assignment is to write an essay about Leonardo Da Vinci, and instead of doing so from books he gets mixed up with the trio of Norman Rockwell, Pablo Picasso, and Degas. His parents are conveniently absent from this episode with only his tutor to watch him, so he is on his own most of the time. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/03/23 Full Review Audience Member Indy goes on Safari with teddy Roosevelt, Great use of the African plains and such, very pretty, alright episode. Second part is better, exploration of art in Paris, Degas, Picasso, Norman Rockwell, Picasso stands out, another unlikely recurring character, great angry performance by Danny Webb Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/22/23 Full Review Audience Member Significantly better than the dreadful first installment, but still not a patch on the original trilogy though.
