Audience Member An "indie" flick that, though not without its moments, generally tried too hard to be indie. The killer for this one was that the same two songs were used during the entire film, one for the first 45 minutes between scenes, then the second for the final 45 minutes, between scenes. And montage after montage after montage: flight attendant gets to hotel, sets alarm clock, puts cell phone on night stand, wakes up, lugs suitcase through many different backgrounds, then five minutes later (to the same music, no less), she's doing it all again. Somewhere in all this posturing, though, there is a decent story. Unfortunately, the vision behind this was so precious as to remove all traces of it. A shame, in a way, one of those films you watch that you know could've been good, but it went so far off the rails it's just sad.
