Audience Member This movie was really difficult for me to watch. But I kept thinking that is minor compared to what these young girls go through! I had no idea the extent to which they still did this, how ingrained it still was in some cultures, and how young the girls are who they do this to. And they usually FORCE them. They cut them. It is unbearable to think about. But I forced myself to watch it because it is really important to know about this and to fight against female I was hopeful seeing the lawyers who helped some of these young girls get injunctions against their parents to stop them from forcing them to get circumcised. It boggles the mind that this kind of torture is considered appropriate and necessary ("no man will want an uncirumcised girl."). It took me two viewings to get through this. Very important film.
