Audience Member Poor Production & Some Incredibly Abysmal Acting Let This Down. A Mix Of Docu-Drama & True-To-Life Footage In Late-90s Western Sydney Is Interesting, But Overall; This Is A Student-TAFE Film With Little Prowess. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/21/23 Full Review Audience Member This was a very interesting film, an powerful in some parts. A fictional film made to look like a documentary, I think it does a really great job at show what homeless poeple/youths go through. I think its amazing how these guys started out just making a film and than it exploded into a world wide sensation. Watching the making of Really added to the whole experience of the film it showed Khoa Do teaching a film program to youths who where unemployed working at a organisation and they ended up maing this film together I think there should be more programs like these for youths and homeless people. in the world, getting them to band together and do something as a team. Khoa Do is an inspiration to me and show be an inspiration for other people who as interested in getting involved in organisations thay offer these types of things Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/19/23 Full Review Audience Member I didn't know anything about this film, but the DVD cover went on how important it was so I gave it a go. Rough yes, ultra-low budget, some excellent performances alongside some shaky ones, but these concerns eventually give way to an engaging and thought provoking journey. Though I come from south-west Sydney where this was shot, the lives presented on screen were far removed from my own experiences, which for me was even more revealing. It's incredible what filmmakers can do with such limited resources, but what they did have was a great script that lent itself to a lot of spontaneous, and very well recorded, creativity.
