Audience Member Star-studded, but just mediocre. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/04/23 Full Review Audience Member What really makes this war comedy action adventure stick out is the fight scenes. Sammo Hung has a very small role, but the action bits are wicked fast and incredible. Andy Lau and the others do well for a Stalag 17 like movie with POW's looking for a POW that has a secret code to a Swiss bank that has funds to help the Chinese in the war effort. The fantastic fight scenes are the film's real highlight, for a breezy and fun martial arts war comedy hybrid. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/05/23 Full Review Audience Member The subtitles may still suck with charm, but I enjoyed revisiting this for the demented humor and decent fights. Kent Cheng suckling man-teat, comic references to the camp as Unit 732, mockery of the flying tigers' patriotism, Eric Tsang in a turtle costume and Sammo as a ninja. It's dumb as hell and lags in the middle, but throws gags and cameos at the screen in a relentless manner that hits just enough to hold up.
