Struggling talent agent Chuck Donovan (Eddie Bracken) hopes to revitalize his business by discovering and publicizing the secret identity of the model used for the famous "Randolph Girl," drawn by Bob Randolph (Ronald Reagan). Questioning Bob, Chuck learns with dismay that the artist had blended the images of 12 separate models to create the drawing. Despondent, Chuck visits Jones Beach, where he spots Ruth Wilson (Virginia Mayo), a teacher who's the spitting image of the Randolph Girl.

It notoriously objectifies women in a Hays Code approved manner, but it remains a very funny and amusing product of its time.

Some good little cheesy yet clever 50s jokes, a good story with a little depth, plus is Ronald Reagan. It's probably just more of a deal since I hadn't seen any of his movies before, but it's kind of cool to watch him pre-politics...

Ah, yes, "The Randolph Girl". This film definitely had its own unique flair. Reagan is great in this film especially. It's a great story of a girl who wants to be loved for her brains...not her beauty...but does she want that man to completely ignore the fact that she's beautiful? I think not.
