Audience Member Oh the trouble a wayward woman will get into. Kind of like Cinderella, but with a drunken, abusive husband instead of nasty sisters, and conniving snobs instead of a fairy godmother, the movie plays out in mostly expected ways, though the end is interestingly vague.
