05/19/2020 Gilligan AND the Globetrotters? A winning combination. See more 10/06/2019 Don’t remember it much See more 03/23/2012 This was a pure fluff piece and never should have been made. See more 01/15/2012 This was a pure fluff piece and never should have been made. See more 09/03/2011 I used to watch a lot of reruns of Gilligan's Island when I was a kid & I remember this made for tv cross over movie. It's been moons since Ive seen it. Although not as good as the series it does have high nostalgia. I even saw the Globetrotters play w/ this line up on my birthday & Curly Neil gave me one of his wrist bands. All the original castaways return except Tina Louise & Jim Backus is barely in this but Im sure fans of the series will enjoy the goofiness of it all even if everyone seems a bit old. This did take place some 14 years after the original show went off the air. My big question is if you're rescued from the island after being on it for so many years why the hell would you want to continue to live on it? Even if it was turned into a resort See more 03/16/2010 "I always liked the cast, and the series on television, and saw the Harlem Trotters several occassions, glad to see noo one broke their hip in the filming of this.
