Audience Member I saw this film in college (circa 1983) and remember it being amusing and enjoyable with great acting. If I can find it I will watch it again. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/08/23 Full Review Audience Member Ozu would've been a great comedy director in late-silent Hollywood. Also, things our hero likes: his beard, kendo, Lincoln, American movies, cake, traditional Japanese dress, and good manners. A man after my own heart.
