Shubhra Gupta The Indian Express Rituparno Ghosh could have given [Amitabh] Bachchan the role of a lifetime in The Last Lear. Audience Member India needs more movies like this. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/16/23 Full Review Audience Member Highlight of the film is the touching portrayal of a Shakespeare actor by Amitabh Bachan! Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/20/23 Full Review Audience Member Put out thy light, and then put out thy light. If I quench thee, thou flaming minister, I can again thy former light restore... - Othello (Sir William Shakespeare) As like as Harry's(Amitabh Bachchan as Harish Mishra) obsession upon Shakespeare, I'm gonna obsessed of Rituporno Ghosh! Its just not a film! Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/01/23 Full Review Audience Member Best performances by everyone, even the boiled potato look alike, Preity Zinta. Rampal surprises. Bachchan is Bachchan.. effortless dialogue delivery, clear diction, total genius. Shefali Shah should stop being stereotypical in her acting. Fab film. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/19/23 Full Review Audience Member No other guy can recite KING LEAR on his deathbed like that. No other guy can hit a journalist for forgetting A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM. AB rocks. Period. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/07/23 Full Review Audience Member The most accessible introduction to the work of Rituparno Ghosh for non-Bengali audiences. If you wanna watch a film that actually means something, please watch this one. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/02/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
