Jarrel M Do yourself a favor and put on some classical music while watching this, that's a tip I found most helpful in enduring the dread of silence you'd want to avoid. If you're not interested in historical cinematic advancements then you'll definitely get bored, 44 mins is still long for a silent movie but we do get treated with some pretty cool visuals. The sets and costumes are so detailed, the touch of color probably made people go berserk back then, even now I'm still impressed they pulled something off like this as early as 1903. If you were raised Catholic then this story should be a no brainer, just the usual life of Jesus played out like mini clips spanning from when he was born all the way to the resurrection, oops that was probably a spoiler. This was one of the earliest mainstream visuals for this story, which only sets up for future Jesus movies to be made the same way. Considering the length of movies back then this one probably had the critics going "44 mins?! that's like watching 44 movies!". Overall a pretty interesting watch, if you've always wanted to read the bible but never got around to it then this movie can summarize some stuff for you lol.
