06/15/2015 The war scenes are worth skipping. See more 07/21/2011 Vicente Aranda never was of my taste but, without doubt, this is one of his worst movies. You can expect the same stuff than in other Aranda's movies: * One young and beautiful actress who will appear fully naked. * Some other actresses who will appear also naked at some extent. Nothing else worth to comment. See more 02/21/2011 this movie had a couple of disturbing sceens....kind of speachless right now... See more 12/17/2010 Looks like a big budget TV-movie more. Grand production & wardrobes, except the crude war scenes. The narrative seems rather loose, circling around numerous characters in 2 hours but still without a clear focal point or plotline pulling everything, including viewers' attention, together. It is funny seeing scenes which Viuda Reposada (played by the wonderful Victoria Abril) keeps seducing Tirante (Casper Zafer) although obviously Zafer, being the titled character, couldn't really act at all.
