Audience Member The greatest 01 hour: and 24 minutes of real Danish footage (with subtitles)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/11/23 Full Review Audience Member thoroughly enjoyable documentary. Even though I found Mr. Vig a bit exasperating I still thought he was quite likeable. This is a documentary film at its best. It's not trying to be flashy or preach, it just telling a simple story about 2 very different but equally determined people. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/15/23 Full Review Audience Member A beautiful documentary. Simple story. The characters are lovable and their conflict is interesting. The love that develops through their differences is awesome. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/04/23 Full Review Audience Member I recommend this movie only for people who are Russian Orthodox. I doubt that others would appreciate the story of a monastery opening in Denmark. On the other hand, Sister Ambrosija had some "girl power"!! Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/16/23 Full Review Audience Member Documentary is supposed to reveal to the viewer parts of life that we may not know or understand. The Monastery is a perfect example of seeing that which we have never glimpsed before. A heartwarming story of an old man's last wish and the nun who trives to achieve her tries to make his wish come true, while doing what is best for her church. A tangled web of stand-offs and misunderstandings culminate in a memorable and fulfilling climax. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/28/23 Full Review Audience Member Great one, like Alice in the wonder land :) Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/14/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
