Jeffrey M. Anderson Combustible Celluloid You won't be scared silly, but for a horror movie to take such a low-key approach, focusing on characters and situations seems like a radical departure. Oct 4, 2009 Full Review Read all reviews

Audience Member You can it was low budget. A lot of the acting is great, but just needed some polish. Could see where it was heading, and thought it could have been a decent movie with more money behind it. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/13/23 Full Review Audience Member So bad. Like wow. I knew it was going to be dumb going into it but I didn't expect it could be THIS bad. Dave Franco was kinda funny at times so I guess I will give it 1 star instead of a half. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/05/23 Full Review Audience Member Highly recommend, genuine thrills and suspense, well filmed, good acting, as well done as 'Halloween' Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/02/23 Full Review Audience Member It's one of the weirdest movies I've ever seen with a weird story Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/25/23 Full Review Audience Member brilliant movie. really enjoyed it. had me guessing all the way through. really loved the end part. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/10/23 Full Review Audience Member A bad sign when the characters have to keep mentioning things like "That guy is so creepy" in order to create a foreboding atmosphere. Takes forever to get moving - time listed here says 2:25 but it only feels like that, in reality is not much over 80 minutes - which is unfortunate because there are a couple good late surprises in the story. That doesn't include the pretty dumb final scene, although there are hints leading up to it. Some pleasurably wonky acting mixed among a likable cast, with Dave Franco aping big brother James' dippy demeanor while sunny Katrina Bowden briefly showcases her million dollar stilts.
