Audience Member I have fond memories of this movie when I was a child. This is the epitome of the "family" movie as members of the Bridges family were much of the cast. Lloyd Bridges plays the neighbor Stuart Larson who finds the abandoned goose on the road, Beau Bridges is the heart-warming father, Jordan Bridges plays the naive and sensitive middle-school kid who is tasked with the responsibility of preparing the goose for the family Thanksgiving dinner. Dorothy Bridges is cast as the wife of Stuart Larson and was the real-life wife of Lloyd Bridges. This movie is about old-time family values and how much a verbal promise meant. A very endearing and emotional holiday movie for the entire family! I keep hopeing they will release it on DVD some day? Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/16/23 Full Review Audience Member I saw this movie when I was a kid on TV...I LOVED it so much. I would re-watch it every thanksgiving. Now, you can't find it anywhere!! This was so good. I had a huge crush on Jason Bateman back then - Not much has changed I guess!! REALLY good. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/23/23 Full Review Audience Member This is another forgotten Disney film I remember loving when I was young. I just recently looked it up on IMDB and it was released on my birthday surprisingly ...11/23/86. I always remember watching it at my grandparents house. I don't want to annoy everyone with these obscure recommendations, but the films are good if you can get your hands on them. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/24/23 Full Review Read all reviews
