Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck and Goofy are lowly French peasants who dream of greatness as members of the musketeers. Though they are rejected by that elite unit, conniving Pete hires them to "protect" Princess Minnie Mouse, believing their incompetence will make it easier for him to usurp the throne. Naturally, Minnie is instantly smitten with Mickey. And though the trio is a bit overzealous at first, they work together to uncover and foil Pete's nefarious plot.

Mat Brunet AniMat's Review (YouTube) Mickey, Donald, Goofy: The Three Musketeers is an enjoyable animated feature that pays tribute to his classic cartoons while also updating the Alexandre Dumas novel is a fun-filled way. Rated: 7/10 Aug 16, 2024 Full Review James Plath Movie Metropolis The animation has a Saturday morning look to it, with an overall brighter, yellower cast, and the film feels like a cartoon short that's been put on the rack and stretched until it qualified as a "full-length feature." Rated: 5/10 Aug 14, 2014 Full Review Dustin Putman TheBluFile.com [Blu-ray Review] A top-notch A/V offering, a few short but cute extra features, and a slight but likable movie for any age—what's not to like? Disneyphiles and families with little ones should be confident in picking up this title. Gawrsh! Rated: 2.5/4 Aug 13, 2014 Full Review Sierra Filucci Common Sense Media Too much cartoon violence in tale of classic trio. Rated: 2/5 Jan 1, 2011 Full Review Beth Accomando KPBS.org See Richard Lester's one instead of this bland adaptation of the Dumas classic. Rated: 2/5 Mar 17, 2009 Full Review Jeffrey M. Anderson Combustible Celluloid Unfortunately, the result is only so-so. Feb 27, 2009 Full Review Read all reviews

Fabrizio A One of Disney's best direct-to-video animated efforts, The Three Musketeers is a very funny re-telling of Alexander Dumas' novel, filled with clever jokes and catchy musical numbers. The story can be a bit too basic and the animation doesn't fully match the artistic standards set by the main Walt Disney Animation Studios facility in Burbank, but the overall quality is still surprisingly high considering this is a low-budget movie. Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck and Goofy finally get their spotlight in a fully animated feature-length movie. Hoping that Disney will produce other ambitious effors with this iconic trio of characters. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 11/17/24 Full Review ANIMATED E It’s a great first feature film for Mickey. But doesn’t offer Disney’s version of the mouse Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 10/19/24 Full Review Ghost B This is a great movie too teach your kids team work an bravery would definitely recommend Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/01/24 Full Review Артем Ð I remember how I had a book and then a cartoon and when I read about this book I was incredibly interested. Now I think that even if it is not a masterpiece, it is a normal film that can be watched for laughs and nostalgia Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/26/24 Full Review Songer K Mickey usually has charming stuff. This? Not so much… Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/01/24 Full Review Elizabeth H I don't understand why this movie has so many bad reviews. People are WAY too critical. This movie is a fun watch and has some catchy tunes (all classical music with lyrics to fit the movie). As an adult, I like to look at this movie as if all the characters are playing OTHER characters! It's not a part of the usual 'Mickey Mouse Universe' is what I mean. 7 years ago, this movie was one of my son's favorites. Now, in 2024, this is one of my daughter's favorites and I don't even mind watching it on repeat. I literally know every word to the movie and still enjoy watching it.
