Audience Member much better than the silent version in macabre sort of way. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Audience Member This isn't really that noteworthy of a film except for the fact that it's a remake of Tod Browning's original and Lon Chaney is in it. Other than that it's pretty forgettable. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/26/23 Full Review Audience Member Although not as good as the original, I was glad to see Lon Chaney reprise his original role. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/23/23 Full Review Audience Member i think i like this remake better than the original and that doesn't happen very often. good early talkie/pre-code flick Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/25/23 Full Review Audience Member Lon Chaney, Sr.'s first and only talking picture, and a remake of director Tod Browning's 1925 silent movie of the same name. Only slightly dated now, this movie shows what Chaney could have been if he hadn't died a couple of weeks after its release. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/15/23 Full Review Audience Member This isn't really that noteworthy of a film except for the fact that it's a remake of Tod Browning's original and Lon Chaney is in it.
