Rob Nelson Variety Hypnotic slo-mo images of honeybees flapping their wings are about all that distinguishes the docu Vanishing of the Bees from a well-researched article on its subject. Apr 26, 2011 Full Review Derek Malcolm London Evening Standard After watching this, you'll probably end up worrying as much as they do. Rated: 3/5 Oct 16, 2009 Full Review Anna Smith Empire Magazine Fascinating subject expertly covered. Rated: 3/5 Oct 9, 2009 Full Review Nikki Baughan Roll Credits So, while the cold hard facts may be important enough to make this a film worth watching, the message is in danger of getting lost to all but the most hardy of audiences. Rated: 3/5 Oct 25, 2019 Full Review Frederic and Mary Ann Brussat Spirituality & Practice A cogent documentary exploring the causes of the global disappearance of honeybees who play such a crucial role in our ecosystem. Jun 7, 2011 Full Review Mike McGranaghan Aisle Seat Both frightening and inspiring. Rated: 3/4 Jun 6, 2011 Full Review Read all reviews

Audience Member This documentary really inspired me to get out and plant more flowers. It may be small but if we all make a change, together we can make a big difference! Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/11/23 Full Review Audience Member Too long! Was informative, but I feel that a shorter length of film would have allowed me to retain the information better. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 01/22/23 Full Review Audience Member 7/5/15 Netflix Saw this after reading a detailed cover story in a recent issue of New York magazine. The doc did a good job of reinforcing the story and the problems of bee stress due to constant movement to pollinate different crops as well as the effect of pesticides in corporate farming. Made me a big fan of buying organic fruit and vegetables as well as honey from small independent aviaries. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/12/23 Full Review Audience Member Very informative, but very biased, they did not tell the farmer's side of the story at all. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/24/23 Full Review Audience Member I liked this documentary. It was very informative and very interesting! The subject is an important one. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/25/23 Full Review Audience Member Interesting and important. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/19/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
