Amanda Jane Stern Film Inquiry It's a cute, sweet movie that - if rom-coms are something you enjoy - is a good one to watch. Dec 2, 2020 Full Review Read all reviews

Marc E A prim uptight Charlotte is besties with a slutty Samantha and they promise each other they’ll pair up if they haven’t met the one after 10 years. Unsure why this is rated as highly as it is on the streamer I watched it on. The dialogue and delivery are stiff and the movie lacks depth, character development and the transformative character arcs needed to sell its premise. You’ll end up trying to find a reason to like any of the superficial characters let alone pick up on chemistry between these cliché opposites are supposed to attract main characters that would make them becoming more than friends feel possible or believable. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 06/17/24 Full Review Audience Member I recognize the effort to make a gay "love comedy" film for a change, but the performance and the developing isn't good. I saw it for a Valentine's Day alone and 'it passed the time' as the mark says, it was kinda funny, but nothing else. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/27/23 Full Review Audience Member 10 years plan was a cliche romantic film, but it was still cute. Performance was average, there were hot guys, the story, like I said brfore cliche, but it was executed decently! I would reccommand this if you into romantic , some what humorous film. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/23/23 Full Review Audience Member It's the plot and dialogue of a soft porn movie without any of the porn. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/29/23 Full Review Audience Member If you've never seen a gay LMN-style movie, this is right up your alley. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/30/23 Full Review Audience Member Three and a half minutes of the worst claptrap I've seen in a while. Then, I shut it off. Why? Because I already had more than enough material for a scathing review. There is some confusion about the nature of gay friends, and its important to realize that having a sexual history with someone doesnt mean you can't be friends.... Even if its a onesided affair. But a narcissistic slut and a neurotic romantic without the self esteem to take up stalking, are not likely to manage it. That's how the two main characters were introduced, and it only took 210 seconds. To be pushing thirty and not know how to pull off the illusory self image needed to nail a first date is ridiculous: but the neurotic (I don't care what his name is) somehow manages to have all the sauve finess of a sea turtle coming ashore to lay eggs. The man-whore on the other hand, is sadly realistic though still a rare breed. Guys who have been hot and fit for the whole of their lives CAN and DO often end up being incredibly lame in bed. But, again, treating men as disposable wears very thin even in a big city. This self-assured stud entered his hook-up so abruptly and came so quickly that the poor bottom was nowhere near orgasm by the end. An end which arrived just as abruptly, with a phone call answered mid climax. I recommend this movie muted, with a side of lotion and a box of tissues; then at least it could pass as middling erotica. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/05/23 Full Review Read all reviews
