Audience Member Found the film offensive, culturally in particular, but the cast, especially the lead April Billingsley, have future potential. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 01/25/23 Full Review Audience Member the plot of the movie was very confusing and there was no point to it. very low production film. lighting was terrible. overall very awkward and uncomfortable. very quirky characters. also all the men looked the exact same. no flavor. the "boyfriend" was weird and creepy. gave pedo and school shooter vibes. the best friend looked WAY older than 27, not very realistic. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/15/23 Full Review Audience Member This is a really interesting take on finding your identity. The actors, especially the one playing Sissy did phenomenal jobs. It was a cool movie! Highly recommend! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/24/23 Full Review Audience Member This film is a fantastic look at what it is to come into one's identity, the people around Sissy may not understand her, but Sissy grows and solidifies who she is as a person throughout the story. It is fun, sad, and a great focus on what it is to come into your own identity even when those around you don't understand. Lovely film, that I will watch again, to see what else I can pick up from the viewings on these characters. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 01/30/23 Full Review Audience Member A soaring score and beautiful cinematography embroider a story about a group of twenty-somethings adrift in Atlanta. At the heart of the tale is an estranged pair of siblings traumatized by their parents' sudden death a few years before. Both brother and sister are quirky as well as grief-stricken. He is hard to pin down about his various, questionable pursuits. She lives in her imagination, describing fantastic exploits in her journals, which he reads without permission. The two eventually open their hearts to each other's imperfect selves. In today's trauma-filled world, that's a happy ending! Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/19/23 Full Review Audience Member I enjoyed escaping into Sissy's imaginative fantasies. Watching Sissy was a much need a break from reality in 2020. This is a well-made film featuring an Atlanta cast and crew. Happy to give this film a big BRAVO. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/15/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
