Don P Okay, let's be honest: no one's going to be winning any Oscars or Golden Globes with this. The plot has a couple of holes in it, and in one particular instance, the acting is so over the top it would win a gold medal in the pole vault. But it's a nice movie that tries. And that's not a knock on it: there are pictures with bigger budgets that are filmed on Hollywood sound stages that stop trying halfway through the opening credits. A special set of kudos would go to whoever is engineering A.R.I. in this. For a low budget movie, the special effects are very impressive. Equally impressive is Sophia Alongi as the smarter-than-her-years Bethany. If there are two problems I have with this movie, Dr. Simon, played by Cait Brasel, seems to want to really tell the main bad guy in this thing off, and there are several chances for who to do that, but the script does not allow the character. I bought the story and the writing, not the actor, who does do a pretty decent job of showing the internal conflict inside of them. The main problem I have is with the main bad guy, Raddock. Now, the best movie villains have always been the ones who are understated. The slow-burn types. If Greg Lutz is that type of actor, apparently he is showing the opposite in this. Lutz's portrayal of the evil Director takes manic to new extremes. But if you get past the negatives, you'll find a nice way of spending an hour and a half. The photography is very good, most of the cast is pleasant, except maybe for let's, and though it is not even on the level of pre-1970 Disney, I think you'll like it . Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/06/25 Full Review Brenen H Some of the acting was subpar, but I really enjoyed the storyline and the fact that this was shot in Tulsa so I knew a lot of the places. I also had a couple friends who are in this movie. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 12/15/24 Full Review Audience Member Some of the dialogue is cheesy, but other than that it is a lowish budget kids movie. Everyone plays their characters well, but sometimes the characters personalities don't mesh. That's honestly the only issue. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/13/23 Full Review Audience Member If It Had John Connor, I'd Of Thrown Another Star It's Way...But No. Only A Low-On Battery Robot Saga.. No Terminator Dynasty Here. Nup. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/21/23 Full Review Audience Member Amateur acting. The movie itself is like any other robot movie that was found by a kid.
