Varley’s grip, her taut observation of nerve-wracking isolation, loosens and the film devolves into a blunt and clichéd consideration of family. The transition is awkward, and more cartoonish than moving, as the performers try to regain their footing.

I can't believe people actually spent money to make this. My 15 year old son is a film student and even he could tell me all the ways this film fell short. The plot was flimsy at best and even then there were so many plot holes, I might have well have been dealing with swiss cheese. Laurence Fishburne is a legend. Why on earth did he partake in this car crash of a film.

The movie was slow, oddly paced, and the ending left you feeling gutted, with more questions. I don’t want to add spoilers but I wish I had not watched this. Terrible waste of incredible talent and a good concept that lacked execution.
