Sadly, it ultimately builds to a would-be shocking twist that is not nearly the game-changer it claims to be, leaving viewers with more questions than answers. Go to Full Review

The Astronaut has a lot going for it, but, like the lead character in the opening scenes, it doesn’t quite stick the landing. Go to Full Review

Varley’s grip, her taut observation of nerve-wracking isolation, loosens and the film devolves into a blunt and clichéd consideration of family. The transition is awkward, and more cartoonish than moving, as the performers try to regain their footing. Go to Full Review

Writer-director Jess Varley delivers an engrossing, intriguing "after space" story that's only really weighed down by some low-orbit visual effects. Go to Full Review

Nabila A @Nalessi 3d I can’t express the disappointment I experienced with this movie. It had a lot of potential, I don’t understand what happened here. It was so bad. See more @foolsoul Dec 18 What a piece of crap standing on an incredible punch that make it just worst. Nearly all reaction of the character is like suicidal tendency, this movie is just a "deceiving punch" filled with "what the heck" ..... nothing ...... repeat. Now talk about that punch, this metamorph in young human grow normally as a human for minimum 20 years!!!! Holy crap, so much void make me wonder is this the real aspect of a black hole! See more Emiliano F @DrAlanGrant Dec 15 Kate Mara gives a great performance, and I was intrigued enough to stick around until the end, but I can't say I enjoyed this film. The script and directing are such a mess, but the score is fantastic from the first note, and the sum of the technical parts are better than the film itself. See more Queen H @QueenWOOD Dec 12 so good and surprisingly tender... didn't expect to cry at the end but here i am. See more Fadi S @fadibear Dec 7 Watched this with a bunch of friends last night. Interesting to see reviews so split, we kinda were the same way but I was on the half that really liked this. I think over time people will grow to really love this movie.
