Varley’s grip, her taut observation of nerve-wracking isolation, loosens and the film devolves into a blunt and clichéd consideration of family. The transition is awkward, and more cartoonish than moving, as the performers try to regain their footing.

Throughout the movie there were constant "flaws" that made no sense. Why didn't she have the typical "motherly instinct"? Why would she be in a house in the wilderness alone after being injured and forced to return from space? How come she didn't have anything to protect herself? No guards either? It all comes together beautifully at the very end, including her father's weird behavior. This is NOT your typical alien movie so keep an open mind. Well done! 👍👍

I was not prepared to cry my eyes out at the end!!! This made me feel all the feels. Seriously unique even while paying homage to other directors. Feel like this warrants a second watch too now knowing the twist.

I watched this movie last night and I think it's has good story but they couldn't make this story satisfying and unfortunately despite of having good story and having high potential for being good movie but because this movie had very hard slow-paced and the performance of cast members weren't good too. Personally I kinda like the main cast of this movie but she couldn't do appropriate performance in this movie
