David H @DaveeHarris 6 days ago An absolutely lovely tongue and cheek romantic comedy. The two leads have great chemistry that slowly builds euphemism after euphemism that keeps you smiling the whole way through. The sun drenched coastal beach setting gives it the nostalgic sun kissed feel which only adds to the warmth. The dialogue is continuously clever and witty, although somewhat repetitive but you tend to look past that due to the ever evolving relationship between the two characters. Also, as a couple, I could see the characters actually staying together past the ending of the movie. They spent a lot of time together and enjoyed each other’s company. This movie was heavy on the flirting and had a great ending. However, Maxi did say that the fake dating (and presumably the flirting) was because he didn’t dare be with him for real.
