Peter Keough Boston Globe Presents the group as a microcosm of a half century of pop music and a study in the serendipity of the creative process, the eternal miasma of family relationships, the protean nature of identity, and the evanescence of success. Dec 31, 2020 Full Review Ed Power Daily Telegraph (UK) The Bee Gees: How Can You Mend a Broken Heart was a solid documentary about the falsetto-fuelled siblings, but suffered slightly from a misleading title. Rated: 3/5 Dec 31, 2020 Full Review Tom Long Detroit News It's well-directed by uber-producer Frank Marshall; it has sharp comments... and it likely will offer some surprises to many unaware of the sheer scope of the Bee Gees career. Rated: B Dec 31, 2020 Full Review Bill Brioux Brioux.tv Brings it all back and then some. By the end you’ll need another Kimberly-Clark product — Kleenex. Oct 11, 2022 Full Review Jane Freebury The Canberra Times (Australia) The Bee Gees' flamboyance is superficial and easy to shoot down. The catalogue of great songs is another matter entirely. Rated: 4/5 Aug 22, 2022 Full Review Keith Garlington Keith & the Movies Marshall’s movie is about a lot more than great careers and great music. Rated: 4/5 Aug 17, 2022 Full Review Read all reviews

Audience Member Great biopic. Flixster won't let me say my true thoughts about the commentary after the book burning. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 12/23/23 Full Review Vincent R This is a really good documentary about the BeeGees you must watch it! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/30/23 Full Review Michael W This showbiz documentary was very good. The entire crew did a spectacular job on bringing the story of one of the greatest music bands of all time, The Bee Gees. It goes into specific detail on their childhood, how they got started, and all of their greatest hits as a group. It even documents on what they did after the band stopped performing, which was very interesting. If you're an HBO Max member, you should watch this documentary sometime. It's a definite must see. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/29/23 Full Review B. B A must watch for any Bee Gees fan. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/31/22 Full Review dave d It's some warts, but overall it is a mostly rosy look back at the greatness and brilliance of the Bee Gees through the eyes of the last Gibb brother and several modern day musicians who were influenced by the art of the over 1000 songs that have come from the mind of the Bee Gees either for themselves or many others. It's the soundtrack of many lives and it should leave you with a smile. Sprinkled in are other band members through the years, spouses and archived interviews with the two Bee Gees no longer with us. If you're a fan of music or the group, it's a must-see film! Final Score: 9/10 Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review kevin c Career spanning documentary about The Bee Gees, who, in the late seventies were arguably the biggest band in the world and just a scant few years later, their career took a strange turn when anti disco movements halted their career as a group. Really fascinating documentary from their start in Australia to being signed and dealing with fame after their first number one hit. Great interviews with the band themselves as well as family, former band mates, Eric Clapton and so many more. Very comprehensive and engaging.
