It’s clear that the irrepressibly charming Sedgwick and Bacon love to share the screen, and it is an absolute joy to watch their effortless chemistry. I just wish it were in a better picture.

I really enjoyed this story of a woman who is losing her older husband to Alzheimer’s. She finds someone who helps her along the way. A simple, enjoyable film.

Much more than I expected. The story is about relationships and how they unfold on their own paths and timelines. The cast work well together and the chemistry between Bacon and Sedgwick is the spark that carries the movie. While light moments partially balance the greater depth of the storyline elements, don’t expect laugh-out-loud comedy. Bacon does the comedic lifting in the role of a rough around the edges security guard. Sedgwick fields the more serious challenges of career and a more senior partner in a long marriage. Very true to life, the story underscores unexpected turns and how the willingness to embrace and work through hardship reveal the meaningful rewards further down the road.

A delightful film that will make you want to see more of Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick together. Maybe a Season 2?? The last few scenes will whiplash from beautifully-written seriousness to joyful fun, and will have you dancing out of the room with an uncontrollable grin.
