Audience Member Heartbreaking but moving documentary on the murder of Dontre Hamilton by a Milwaukee police officer and the Hamilton family fight for justice. The Hamilton family has such incredible strength and poise in the face of horrific circumstances. The film makers always take an extra beat to let the interviewer, and thus the story and then the viewer, really breathe and take a moment to think and reflect. The documentary isn't reactionary or a exploitative, but follows them over the course of three years to get the full story. Get ready because it will move in you. It will move you to take action and to fight to dismantle our hate-based system. Say his name. Dontre Hamilton. Keep it on your lips. Keep pushing for justice. A powerful work that should be shown round the world. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/12/23 Full Review Audience Member An excellent, well done, and thought provoking documentary about police shootings, criminalty, and even the narrative that head officials control.
