Audience Member There aren't many films about RAD (reactive attachment disorder) so I was really interested in how this one would manage the subject. (No need to say I ended disappointed) This is such a terrible film. The writing/edition is so bad, you're left with the sensation you're seeing a (badly) censored version. Scenes that are supposed to have an impact in the audience fail at building tension because of this (for example, the scene where Elizabeth notices her dog is missing is skipped out). And more important, they forget that you need to show not only tell (we have Annika telling the therapist his husband is being manipulated by Carl but we hardly seen them interact and the few scenes with them shows Zeb being aware Carl has issues). There are other things like the characters acting as if they lack common sense (especially Annika) for plot convenience and at times some bad acting. But the major problem with this film is that it seems like the writers only read like half of the RAD's Wikipedia page and thought it was enough.
