Solea S Bridget Fonda shines in this classic domestic violence movie with a noir twist. It highlights the problems victims of violence face from law enforcement, an uncaring society in general, and their less than sympathetic families. Bridget is Jimmy Dade, a woman whose husband has beaten her to the point where she loses her hearing, but also begs her to forgive him. She can't trust the cops now that she's the one they want to arrest, so what is she going to do? This movie is triggering if you come from family violence, and such a realistic performance from Bridget Fonda. This film reminds us that No one really helps you when you're in this situation. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 06/12/23 Full Review jeff c Better than average murder mystery with lots of unpredictable twists, great acting and cinematography Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Decent Revenge Film... Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/15/23 Full Review Audience Member This is NOT a comedy. How it can be advertised or marketed as such is beyond me. It is dark, depressing and painful to watch. It is not fun to watch two people to spend 2 hours arguing, crying and complaining. If you are looking for a fun lighthearted movie you are looking in the wrong place. Beyond the fact this movie is not a comedy, its just not a good movie either. It drags along and the suddenly ends with no resolution. Pass on it! Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/26/23 Full Review Audience Member Im not sure if this is the movie that my boyfriend wanted me to review because its soon gonna be relateable to me, but here it goes. This is a great movie! Definitely worth watching if you are in a relationship that is rocky. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/30/23 Full Review Audience Member Interesting film. Storyline was good, but nothing spectacular. Sutherland did a good job. It was nice seeing Fonda and Weber back together again (Single White Female).
