Donald Clarke Irish Times Ó Céilleachair's film is as unhurried and lolloping as the journey - if a deal less gruelling. Rated: 4/5 Nov 23, 2018 Full Review Andrew Murray The Upcoming [T]his travel documentary is full of high hopes and aspirations and, in many ways, is the cinematic equivalent of hearing a story from your grandad: it's an interesting tale, but can be incredibly dull at times. Rated: 3/5 Feb 2, 2021 Full Review Sean Dooley Film Ireland Magazine Donal O'Ceilleachair's film is an inspiring tale of hardship and immense work. Nov 29, 2018 Full Review Paul Whitington Irish Independent There's a melancholy tinge to Donal O'Ceilleachair's seafaring documentary,. Rated: 3/5 Nov 27, 2018 Full Review Aine O'Connor Sunday Independent (Ireland) This is the story of an adventure based in Irish traditions and told largely as Gaeilge and it's a pleasure and privilege to get to see people who just do things. Rated: 5/5 Nov 27, 2018 Full Review Jennie Kermode Eye for Film The Camino voyagers are not young men but their courage, determination and love of life show that it's never too late to embark on an adventure. Audience Member A superb little documentary movie. It was joyful, beautiful and moving and highlighted the best in human nature. I used "Demand Film" to get the movie shown at a local cinema. I recruited friends and colleagues and even made my kids come see it. They all loved it. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/26/23 Full Review Margaret-Ellen C I loved literally everything about this stunning and moving film. I admit I learned about it because Iï¿ 1/2(TM)m a massive Glen Hansard fan, and Iï¿ 1/2(TM)m so glad I found my way to see it. An emotional journey (across a literal one), practically a meditation on ritual, patience, and letting go. I hope it will be made available on streaming services soon; I saw it at the Craic Fest in NYC. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/08/19 Full Review Audience Member Celtic heritage will be present in Irish blood forever. Their courage and determination are unreal. The Camino by the sea sounds dangerous and crazy, but the Irish crew prove that nothing is impossible. Music is key factor during the journey, not only for relaxation after long hours rowing, but also as a strength fountain to continue the Camino. Fantastic documentary! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/14/23 Full Review Audience Member Beautiful and genuine, true to it theme with no frills. Really really worth a watch. 5 brilliant protagonists with wonderful Irish authenticity.
