This was a made for tv movie and I loved it from the first time I saw it. I think that it deserves more acclaim than it received. Loved the cast that was chosen. This movie resonates with me on so many levels. I think that anyone who has experienced a similar situation knows the feelings that both Tom and Jean go through. You can feel the character's conflict between doing what is right and being swept up in unexpected feelings and attraction for each other. For Tom, saying I don't know why I'm here, is so true. I think you can love more than one person at a time during your lifetime. You can be happy with the life you have with someone then another person comes along unexpectantly that can also make you feel happiness, contentment and love. Decisions have to be made and although Jean runs away, she will forever have the words "you and I never made love, but I really don't remember if we did or not." I think that in her mind, in her heart, and being swept up in the romance, that was as close to making love to Tom as she could get without crossing the line. It made for a beautiful brief memory and a clean conscience so she could move on with her life with her husband. It's a story where you want to see them get together, but then you know the choices in the end were the right ones.
