Leah Pickett Chicago Reader Cat people tend to be unfairly maligned, but in this documentary, they're heroes. Sep 27, 2019 Full Review Alissa Simon Variety While the production package is merely workman-like, the commitment, honesty and heart of the main interviewees makes the material compelling. Jul 8, 2019 Full Review Frank Scheck Hollywood Reporter [A] film which should prove catnip to feline lovers. Jul 8, 2019 Full Review MaryAnn Johanson Flick Filosopher A tiny, delicate, inspiring metaphor for the reshaping of attitudes we will need to make on a planetary scale, and for the effort we'll need to expend to clean up the enormous messes we have made. Audience Member I bought this movie on iTunes after seeing the trailer. I grew up with cats-- mostly rescues or SPCA adoptions. I wish more people made films like this. The situation and the "stars" are accessible. It shines a light on a real problem, and a very real solution. It balances the awful truth with the also hopeful truth and possibility. It was an emotional watch, but not utterly depressing. I think more people really need to see this. It could open many more eyes and help solve the problem. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/22/23 Full Review Audience Member Great movie for any animal lover. Although the focus is on NYC rescuers, this is happening all over our country and I think that this movie would be perfect to discussion starter within communities who are having issues with feral cats as to what can be done about it. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/10/23 Full Review Audience Member Absolutely worth watching! Authentic and heartwarming! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/29/23 Full Review Audience Member They are very dedicated and caring to do something about loving pets that society has thrown away. Good for them and shame on us. The scene where the guy said the cat was his best friend and he brings him to the acc knowing that there not a slight chance but a big chance his cat will be euthanized. He tried to play it off for the cameras no one is that stupid. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/12/23 Full Review Audience Member I thought this movie was very moving. It follows a number of local rescuers/volunteers who spend enormous time, energy, and their own money to help feral and abandoned cats in NYC. I recommend it! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/15/23 Full Review Audience Member These filmmakers are storytellers of the first order. You're emotionally hooked from the get-go and come away thoroughly informed, and grateful that there are individuals like these making the world a better place for cats and people.
