It’s a powerful story, directed with seething rage at a world of outward order and inner agony. Go to Full Review

It is about four women who allow themselves to become part of a scientific survey that examines their sex lives. Shelly Winters and Jane Fonda give horrible performances. The screenplay is badly written. George Cukor did a terrible job directing this movie. I was not impressed with this motion picture. See more 07/09/2017 Only reason for one star is Claire Bloom's performance. Over the top sudsy melodrama. Can't believe this was directed by Cukor and such a good cast. Sorry excuse for a script. It's release is 1962 NOT 52! Duh, Jane Fonda would have been a child! See more 08/31/2015 I probably wouldn't have bothered to review this tedious time killer but for the exceptional portrayal by Claire Bloom and the fact that the idiot who wrote the blurb for this movie wrongly attributes an Academy Award win to Jane Fonda for On Golden Pond instead of Klute. So much for movie buffs who can't distinguish nominations from wins. See more Read all reviews
